#Jallikattu Ban: I'm against #Jallikattu's ban.

Jallikattu ban is like killing a sport or culture. I don't say animals should be slaughtered after the game, it should be just like a game.

I don't know why PETA is against it. I just have a question for them, Yearly minimum of #52 #billions of animals are slaughtered across the world. Why can't these people (PETA) try to stop this killing of innocent animals?

According to the survey of FAO state of world fisheries report, Around 90% of the fish stocks are being over fished last year. That means only 10% of fish stocks were left last year. If we continue the same, it is very tough to maintain ecological balance which is very dangerous not only to marine but also to the environment. This is why sustainable goal 14 calls on us to use our marine resources sustainably for the upcoming generations.

According to other report by The Economist, Meat provides 17% of global caloric intake, but it takes disproportionate toll on the environment. The production of 1kg of Beef can create upto 1,000kgs of green house gases. Water usage is a problem too. It takes very less 214 liters of water to produce 1kg of tomatoes, but it takes more than 50 times of that to produce a kilo beef.
Like this, there are many surveys which clearly shows there is a serious problem which we have to face due to the lack of ecological balance.

During Festivals like Dussera and kanuma(Kanuma) 3rd day of sankranthi, lots of animals will be killed. During Ramzan, Lakh's of animals are killed on the name of Haleem and etc. During Bakrid, Lakh's of goats and sheep's are killed world wide and during Christmas and New year also the same happens. PETA should rather concentrate on these first and then come to cultural issues.
I'M NOT AGAINST ANY RELIGION, IT'S JUST A TRUE PHENOMENON IN EVERY RELIGION.

According to A veteran Tamil Director, #Jallikattu is a festival in which man is in danger position not the bull, and its a game whic is being conducted from past 4000 years.

#Jallikattu should not be banned until and unless no animals are slaughtered on the name of culture.
